Its central image is the nazar of the Murshid. In Sufi vocabulary, nazar can signify spiritual attention, care, correction, and transformative companionship. The work asks what happens when the seeker stops performing spirituality and allows himself to be changed. The Murshid does not become the destination. Likewise, “sajda in sound” is poetic language for humility and surrender.
