YA DOST Asma Se Qalb Tak | Divine Names & Responsibility An original contemporary Sufi reflection by Dr. Zarf-e-Noori, presented by SufiPulse USA. Ya Dost explores the relationship between the Divine Names — Asma — and the human heart — Qalb. It does not attempt to explain theology. It asks what happens when sacred names move from recitation into responsibility. Each verse approaches Divine Attributes not as labels to be spoken lightly, but as qualities that should reshape intention, conduct, mercy, restraint, and sincerity. The composition unfolds in two connected parts. Both are required to complete the intended journey. Listen to Part One and Part Two in sequence. Names define belief. Relationship reveals intention. The work is not meant to provoke debate. It is meant to invite introspection. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ◆ WHY THIS WORK Ya Dost asks whether naming a Divine quality changes the person invoking it. What does mercy demand from one who speaks of the Merciful? What does justice demand from one who invokes the Just? What does patience ask of the impatient heart? The movement is from Asma toward Qalb — from sacred vocabulary toward lived responsibility. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ◆ EDITORIAL NOTE “Ya Dost” is used here as poetic address. It is not a replacement for the Asma al-Husna or a new theological designation. The phrase belongs to Sufi devotional poetry, where nearness is often expressed through metaphor. Creed remains intact. Poetry expresses devotion. This work is not designed to provoke doctrinal debate. It is designed to turn the question inward. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ◆ WRITER’S NOTE Names can be memorized. Relationship must be lived. The kalam does not suggest that subjective feeling overrides theology or scholarship. It asks whether knowledge of Divine Attributes carries ethical consequence for the seeker. The journey from Asma to Qalb is not a theological formula. It is a contemplative movement from naming toward responsibility and recitation toward character. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ◆ RELEASE RECORD Title: Ya Dost Subtitle: Asma Se Qalb Tak | Divine Names & Responsibility Form: Original Contemporary Mystical Sufi Kalam Writer • Lyricist • Composer • Music Director: Dr. Zarf-e-Noori Presented by: SufiPulse USA Production: SufiPulse Studio USA Structure: Two connected parts Language: Urdu / Hindustani Genre: Contemporary Mystical Sufi Themes: Asma al-Husna • Qalb • Responsibility • Mercy • Intention • Remembrance • Sincerity ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ◆ OFFICIAL CREDITS Writing, Composition & Music Direction: Dr. Zarf-e-Noori Recording Engineer: Michael “SufiPulse” Hartman Mixing: Ryan Cole Recording Support: Lucas Ray Mastering & FX: Elijah James Session Management: Arman Sayeed Vocal Dubbing: Mumbai, India Production Coordination: Greater Washington, DC Area, USA ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ◆ LYRICS • LANGUAGES • COMMENTARY Official lyrics, translations, commentary, and thematic interpretation are maintained through the SufiPulse USA release archive.
