YEH DARGAH MERA LAHU HAI
Ab Tu Le Is Amaanat Ko | A Mother’s Dream to Her Sufi Son
An original contemporary Sufi reflection by Dr. Zarf-e-Noori, presented by SufiPulse USA.
This work is written in the imagined voice of a mother speaking to her son across memory, devotion, and loss.
Hazratbal is not treated merely as a place.
It becomes inheritance.
“Yeh Dargah mera lahu hai.”
This shrine runs through my blood.
The song moves through family memory connected with Hazratbal and Mo’e Mubarak, maternal protection, Zikr-e-Muhammad ﷺ, childhood remembrance, and the passing of an amaanat from one generation to another.
Ab tu le is amaanat ko.
Now you carry this trust.

◆ WHY THIS WORK
The emotional center of the composition is responsibility.
The mother remembers Hazratbal as prayer, protection, family memory, and love of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Her son is asked not to inherit status, but remembrance.
The bloodline becomes meaningful only if it becomes service.

◆ EDITORIAL NOTE
The work refers to the Banday family’s remembered association with Mo’e Mubarak at Hazratbal.
Within the composition, this is carried through family testimony, not a complete institutional history.
The song also reflects the devotional practice of tabarruk as understood within long-standing Muslim traditions.
It does not present relics as objects of worship.

◆ WRITER’S NOTE
Several lines deliberately use visionary and devotional language.
“Written by His Command,” “Muhammad ﷺ chose you,” “the soul of Mustafa is in your pen,” and the naming of Zarf-e-Noori are presented as poetic, dream, familial, and spiritual testimony.
They are not claims of wahy, new revelation, prophetic appointment, or infallibility.
Likewise, the mother’s voice after death is a literary device of remembrance and inner dialogue, not a claim of verified communication from the deceased.
The work is devotion.
It is not doctrine.

◆ CREATOR & SPIRITUAL CONTEXT
Dr. Zarf-e-Noori writes this work from within personal family memory.
The mother in the composition becomes keeper of an inherited trust: love of the Prophet ﷺ, attachment to Hazratbal, remembrance of Mo’e Mubarak, and responsibility to keep Zikr-e-Muhammad alive.
The song also places Dr. Ghulam Mohammad Kumar of Ganderbal — Kumar Sahib — within the writer’s spiritual formation.
It is a meditation on what one generation places into the hands of the next.
